Dear Partners in Ministry,

Warm Christian greetings from Jamaica.

O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, … Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

As ministry at the two local churches continues, we are pleased to announce that ministries and attendance are steadily returning to pre-Covid levels. We praise God and pray that it will be sustained.

CARE PACKAGE MINISTRY

Food care packages continue to be distributed. This quarter, however, back to school packages were also distributed at both churches. Parents and children alike were grateful for the supplies.

CHURCH SERVICES & COVID-19

The church services continue both virtually and physically. We thank God that the last pandemic wave was mild and hence the protocols were not re-instituted. The re-launch of face-to- face Sunday School at Spice Grove took place on the first Sunday of July. The average attendance since then has been 15. The re-launch for Providence is scheduled for August.

The 2Worship Virtual Ladies Ministry continues with an average of 30 women on the first and third Mondays of the month. The first Wee Women session for children under 13 years of age was held in May. These children were active participants in the program. What a blessing it was. Please continue to pray for the expansion and success of this ministry,

We are still hoping to have Vacation Bible School this year at both churches. Please pray for this ministry that God will provide the teachers and workers required.

Purchase of Property

We are yet to receive a letter of undertaking from the bank. It is our hope that the amount of Ja. $12,000,000.00 (US 80,000.00) will be approved. Please continue to pray in this regard and that God will miraculously provide the remaining Ja. 2,060,000.00 (US 13,000.00) so the sale agreement can be closed.

Prayer Requests:

  1. Funds to complete the building at Spice Grove. The construction month has been rescheduled to August. The work plan remains the completion of the Prophet’s Chamber and hopefully procuring some material to install the ceiling in the sanctuary
  2. Required funds to acquire the four-bedroom house The salvation of youths and men.
  3. Our physical health and wellbeing
  4.  2Worship Ladies Ministry
  5. Finalizing of motor vehicle Insurance claim and funds to purchase a new vehicle
