Dear Brethren in Christ

Jeremiah 29:11 gives us the reassurance “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

We continue to crave your prayers as we see our mom continue to deteriorate. Though difficult it is, we know that whatever the Lord does is well done so we rest upon His promise. Mom (Hazel) has been hospitalised since May 3, was discharged but readmitted after two days. She is being cared for at the Black River Hospital and can no longer receive food via her mouth based on difficulties in swallowing. She is, therefore, now being fed through a tube, which mean she can only receive liquified meals. The recent feedback from the doctors is that her heart is weakening. She still communicates but is doing so much less these days and we cherish every moment she shares with us. We (three of her children) were happy to spend Mother’s Day with her in the hospital and she was very happy to see some (four) of her grandchildren. Your continued financial support and prayers means a lot to us and we seek renewed strength to cope.

Yours sincerely,
Darlene Jones Daughter of Hazel Webster
