To our Wonderful Inner Circle Family:

1 Corinthians 10:31

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

2 Corinthians 4:6–7

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

These verses and many others give strength and purpose to one’s life.  Why do we who truly love God and who have truly been born again from above keep serving Him?  It certainly isn’t based on intellect, innate abilities, nor the will of man!  Yes, it is all of God and His sovereign will Who one day brought us to Himself. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. —Titus 3:5-7  For what purpose? To glorify God in everything we do in our journey here on planet Earth.  Apart from Him, we are of no value. But in Him we are to give Him the Glory!  It is all about Him!

When people ask how we are doing, the answer is simple, “I am doing okay for the shape I’m in and the age I’m at!” We surely have to be wise and do what is necessary for preservation of life until our Lord Jesus decides to say, “It’s time, come on home!”  Maybe like you, Nancy and I are both dealing with a couple of issues.  Nancy is dealing with blood pressure regulation and knee pain and I with a mass in my right kidney that may need some serious attention.  We both have the normal aches and pains that come with age. However, we love our Lord and will continue to serve Him as long as we can.  Yes, we depend upon our Lord and we appreciate your sacrificial giving and most of all, your prayers on our behalf.  Our two children and their families are doing well and our six grandchildren are growing and our prayer is that the Lord Jesus would be the centrality of their lives.

Just a bit about the transitions that are taking place at IGM.  The Council is continuing to look for God’s man to take up the baton and become the director.  He needs to be Godly, have a huge heart for loving God’s servants, several years as a pastor or missionary, and willing to give the Lord Jesus the headship of the Mission.  We are looking for two people (or a couple) to step up to help internally with the details of serving pastors around the world.  Volunteers are always welcome as well as those who are retired but want to make a difference for the Glory of God.

May our Heavenly Father bless you as you continue to serve Him!
