2 Timothy 2:2

“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

Jambo-hello our faithful partners in the ministry. God has been good to us since the beginning of this year. In our last letter, we asked prayers for the church elections. God gave us leaders. Thank you for praying. Paul and the team are holding seminars to train the new leaders. It is our hope and prayer that the Lord will continue to equip them for His work. Please pray for safety as Paul travels between the churches.

Leah continues to work with the feeding programs. The families are hearing God’s Word and most of them are growing in their faith. She also works with the students. We praise the Lord that 3 girls graduated from high school at the end of last year. June Rose passed very well and, Lord willing, she will be joining university in May this year. We praise the Lord for providing for her first year and trust that He will continue to provide for her. This gives her hope and a future. We have seven other students still in high school.  Three of them will graduate this year, Lord willing.

We also have Christine, who is in her last year of Bible college. Lord willing, she will graduate in July. Please pray for her and the future ministry that the Lord has for her.

At the beginning of this year, Leah met Tabitha, a single mom who has 5 children. She has been struggling to feed her children which resulted in malnutrition, especially for her two younger ones. The children were not in school due to lack of school fees and uniforms. We shared the needs and God used people to provide food, clothes, blankets, school fees, and uniforms. They are also in great need of a house and for that, too, the Lord has provided the funds and we have started building a house for them. As a result, Tabitha and her children have started attending church. God is in the business of making a difference in the lives of families and we are privileged to be on His team. Lord willing, we plan to have a pastors’ wives’ retreat on April 12 and 13th.  Please pray for all the preparations and above all, that the hearts will be ready to learn from the Lord. Also pray for the speaker, our friend, Sandy Stoub, from Illinois. She will also be serving with us in other areas of ministry.

We would also appreciate prayers for a mission team from Oak Brook, Illinois that is planning to come serve with us in July.

Family: The Lord has been faithful to us and has continued to provide, protect, and strengthen us. Some of us have had the flu which did not spare the grandchildren, but we are all feeling better. Aziza is turning 4 on April 1st and Zefania 1 on June 25th. They are a blessing. Please pray that we will all stay close to the Lord and grow in our faith.

Thank you very much for prayer and financial support which enables us to serve.

May the Lord continue to bless you!

In Christ’s Love,

Paul and Leah Manyara
