Dear Ministry Partners,
Our God is magnificent! He is omnipotent, that is all powerful, he rules in the lives of men. He even tells us in the Old Testament that “The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” Proverbs 21:1 God is in the life changing and miracle working business!
He has been encouraging and blessing Berean Baptist Church for the last 16 months. At a time when churches normally struggle and decline, God has blessed us! The church did lose 2 people but there have been souls saved and 15 new church membership.
My last Sunday with the precious people of Berean was on July 16, 2023. We thank God for leading us to Dr. Dave and Laurie Downs. We are honored and privileged to have a ministry team deeply in love with Jesus and a heart for souls. There is a good spirit of love and unity in the church. Please be praying for Berean as it sits in the midst of a population explosion in Central Florida. There are unlimited opportunities to reach others for Christ.
Please be praying for the ministry of “Have Bible Will Travel” as I transition out of the interim pastorate at Berean and back into substitute speaker for pastors on vacation and medical leave. Also, be praying for conference work.
God has been abundantly gracious to me in my health. I have asked others to pray for my strength and stamina and God has supplied.
I also want to praise God for those that support the ministry in prayers and finances. You have been a great encouragement to me. I thank God for the friends that he has put around me.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58).
