Church Planting in Cameroon

We give thanks to God for his faithfulness and assistance in the first 6 months of 2023 despite multiple challenges. “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”  1 Thes 5:24.

On February 1, 2023, Biblical Baptist Church of Ngoumou held a seminar on the need for a personal and intimate communion with God through a balanced Christian life. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Jos. 1:8. We continue to persevere in the Word, prayer, fellowship and testimony in the Biblical Baptist Church of Ngoumou.

On February 12-19, 2023, we held the first training session on the 12 aspects of church planting in Messmena, East Cameroon on Bibliology. The second session was held on April 2-9, 2023, on the Fundamental Doctrine of the Bible.  We will hold 4 sessions for this basic training. Our plan is to set up the Practical School of Missions (EPM) with the Mobile Bible School (MBS) approach for practical Bible training. This basic training will be held in Messamena, Bertoua, Belabo and Dimako (East Cameroon) and Ngoumou (Centre Cameroon).

We are currently focused on the Empowerment Program for pastors in the Center Region of Cameroon.  The first training session was held on July 17-20, 2023, for 15 pastors at Cameroon Entreprises Développement (CED). The objective of this training was to allow each pastor to have a precise, clear and adequate business project idea.

In 2023, our objective is to train 80 church planting agents to spread the Gospel. It is apostle Paul’s approach in the school of Tyrannus so all of Asia would hear the Gospel of our vigor Jesus Christ. 8And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God. 9But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus. 10 And this continued by the space of two years, so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. Acts19:8-10.

We want every Cameroonian to have the opportunity to hear the Gospel at least once in their lifetime. Together reach Cameroon for Christ.
