“Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.” Psalm 103:1

Dear Faithful Prayer Partners and Financial Supporters,

The second quarter has ended well. On May 31st, we flew to the US and began our furlough.  We were first welcomed at the airport by brother James Keiser who gave us a ride to the mission house reserved for us by Salem Baptist Church. There, we received a warm welcome from Pastor Rick and his wife. We are so thankful to Salem Baptist Church for providing for us a nice mission house. A week after we settled in the mission house, we received the visit of our son, Joshua, and his family. What a joy it was to finally meet our grandson, Micaiah. It was a wonderful family reunion. We bless the Lord for the time we spent together in Winston-Salem, NC before they returned to Pensacola.

The churches are doing well. The month of June was extremely rainy and two of the churches’ areas were flooded but people still come to church. While I am writing this prayer letter, heavy rain is falling on the city and many areas are flooded.

In the main church of Tamani, 13 new believers are in the discipleship class and will be baptized at the end of the teachings. From August 10-13, the teenagers will be going to the youth’s 3rd conference in Kpalime this year. This conference has been postponed many times due to Covid restrictions. Now that everything is back to normal, everybody is looking forward to this conference. Unfortunately, many of them cannot afford the cost of transportation to the site of the conference. The cost is $15 dollars per person. There are 31 teenagers who registered to attend. Would you prayerfully support these teenagers to go to the national conference where they will receive good Bible teaching to help them in their faith and walk with the Lord? If only we had a minibus to transport them!!! The theme of the conference is “Young Christian, You are Not Alone”. Speakers for the conference are coming from the USA and France. For this good cause, would you prayerfully consider supporting these teens so they can go to the conference?

As we begin to fill up our travel schedule, we also face an important need which is a good and reliable vehicle for our travels in the States. Please pray that the Lord will provide us with a vehicle.

Building Project.

The church building project of the main church in Tamani is at a stopping point. Believers are meeting in the unfinished building while we are in the States to raise the rest of the funds needed to bring the project to full completion. Please continue to pray for the other needs, as well. If we have not yet got in touch with you for scheduling, we’re still working on it.

May the blessings of the Lord be upon you all.
