Dear Praying Partners,

This past year of 2022 has been filled with many trials for our family. We ended 2021 with Denise being in the hospital for 14 days as they ran tests on her trying to figure out what was wrong. She had gone through 4 blood transfusions, iron infusions, IV’s, colonoscopy, endoscopy, X-Rays, not being able to keep anything down, losing 80 pounds, bone marrow biopsy, kidney biopsy and ultrasounds and ultimately discovered she had Lupus Nephritis. Thus Jan -May of this past year all my meetings were canceled, along with traveling with National Pastors as I was her sole care giver 24/7.  Since this past January she has had Infusions, three Doctor visits per week of 3 hours traveling for each through the month of May. Once her doctor visits slowed down, I was able to start traveling again in August as Denise was able to care for herself for short periods of time. The Doctors have told us that this is her new normal and she will never be back to her usual way of life. Even so, we have so much to praise the Lord for and are able to work around her situation. God is good, as the Doctors did not believe Denise would make it to last Christmas.

I am thankful that I am able to get back on the road over weekends and promote Cote D’Ivoire and FMI Orphans. Our ministries in Cote D’Ivoire continue to expand and move forth. We are excited for Gods goodness in helping us with these projects this past year:

4 motorcycles purchased for our Pastors

A well drilled to 275 feet which supplies drinking water for our large church in Bouake and the surrounding community.

Construction of a wall around our Church property in Valvoa.

Evangelism Equipment for our Evangelistic team.

Monthly support for some of our Pastors working in Cote D’Ivoire.

Funds to purchase parcels of land for constructing Church buildings.

Starting a new church in the Toumoudi area of Cote D’Ivoire.

Graduated another 20 Students from our Bible School in Abidjan.

Raised money to reroof one of our churches that was damaged by a windstorm.

Built an outside Baptismal for our large Church in Bouake.

These are a few of the projects we were able to complete this past year through His Faithfulness.

In addition to our Cote D’Ivoire ministries, I work tirelessly with Cheryl in helping raise support for our many Orphan Children in our FMI program. Cheryl has been a God-send to work with in keeping up on reports, updates and making sure our National Pastors are abiding by our Partnership Manual. Truly, this is a full-time job in itself.  We need everyone’s help in raising monthly support for these children.

Lastly, I thank each of you who give of your time to help push IGM forward for His cause.  Our prayer is that God will continue to bless IGM as we each remain faithful to Him in reaching the world for Christ. Please be praying for our monthly support as we are still in need of $750 per month just to catch up. Every little bit helps!!!

Warmly submitted,

Jim for Cote D’Ivoire
