Dear Ministry Partners,

I love this time of year. The beautiful lights remind us that Jesus is the Light of the World. In the midst of the Jewish temple, Christ proclaimed; “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12

Christ is not only the Light of the World but that light brings eternal peace through faith in His death, burial, and resurrection. We have the peace that we know we will be with Him forever in Heaven. It is God’s desire that we know His temporal peace in our chaotic world. He spoke of His peace in Jn. 14.27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”  Christ also greeted the disciples with a blessing of peace each time He met with them after the resurrection. What a joy and a privilege to experience and share God’s message of light and peace.

I thank God, that even in the face of this difficult year, I have had the joy and privilege of conducting 12 services. Even in the face of covid, we have seen people walk the aisle in response to the Lord’s ministry in their hearts. Having lost Ruth to covid and coming close to dying from it myself in August, I am more keenly aware of the privilege of ministering. Each speaking engagement is a precious opportunity to serve the Master.

I want to praise God for my prayer warriors and financial supporters. There has been much “spiritual fruit” this year in spite of the difficulties and challenges. Please continue to pray for ministry opportunities.  I will be starting up the community Bible study the first of the year, soon after my heart operation.

May the peace of God guard your hearts and minds as you seize the opportunities to serve Him this coming year.
