Dear Loved Ones and Prayer Warriors,

Winter is in the news but nothing like it used to be. For kids walked to school as I did but buses pick up most of the children. Many high school kids drive to school.

Yesterday, I heard about a clock that answered your questions about the time or weather and even said whether it was morning or evening. Thinking it was morning, I had a second breakfast as it was 7:20 in the morning. Guess I’m not the only one who gets turned around. Just smile and enjoy your second breakfast.

A good Brazilian friend of mine got shingles and it went to her brain so now she is in Heaven. We lived and worked together and in 2011, we traveled to Portugal and had a Bible conference with a publishing company called Fiel (Faithful). What a great time we had! Afterwards, we traveled by train at night and saw the sights during the day. It was a great way to see Europe!

My sister’s grandson found his life’s companion and married her in Kansas and June 16th, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy whom they named Paul M. Stevenson. He is growing and lets his parents know when he is hungry or has a dirty diaper. His lungs are well-developed, praise the Lord.

On February 1st, Pastor Lex Reed will step into the position of Executive Director of International Gospel Missions and Pastor Newhart will become Executive Director Emeritus and he and his wife will become missionaries (Editor’s note: please see enclosed Transition Letter and the Newharts’ prayer letter for more details.). We praise God for their faithfulness in His service. Do pray for both couples and the new challenges that will appear.

I still correspond with and pray for Brazilian missionaries as they serve the Lord. This weekend I have a meeting for a young couple. They worked for Word of Life with the Parker family. They spent one term on the field and had a boy born there and a girl born here. They plan to return to Brazil in February. If you are interested in hearing them, let me know and we’ll contact them.

May you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, too. I hope you get together with your family and rejoice in the blessing of Christmas with Jesus. Be thankful for all you have with Jesus living in you to guide and direct your daily life. What a privilege to have Jesus living in us daily! Praise God for His presence with us. Spend time in His Word daily.

Thank you so much for continuing to support me. I praise God for you and the blessings I receive. May He strengthen and encourage you each day. I love you for your faithfulness. Psalm 46

Lovingly,

Beatrice G. Klingensmith
