James 1: 2-3

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.”

Dear partners in the ministry, I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The last few months have been a bit trying for our churches in Benin. Many of our members have gone through and continue to experience difficult times related to illness and other things.

The resurgence of the Covid 19 pandemic in Benin has multiplied the positive cases among us, including myself for several days. My wife and I have tested positive for Covid 19 and are currently on treatment.

But we bless the Lord as we slowly recover from illness. Even though some of our loved ones have died from this disease, we give thanks to the Lord because he remains faithful to us.

The Cotonou church had to stop meetings until the end of the month so as not to spread the disease. We use social media to share sermons until further notice. But our other two churches continue to function normally. The young church of Porto-Novo, 30 miles from Cotonou, continues to register the arrival of new people, including a few young people who are currently receiving strengthening courses.

There is good news about Zopah Church that makes our hearts happy. The church received a donation of land that could allow it to build a real temple, and the making of bricks for the construction has recently started. We need support to complete this project. I will come back to you for an estimate of our needs in relation to this construction project. For now, pray with us for the smooth running of the work.

Please pray for the recovery of all of our members and for things to get back to normal as soon as possible.

Pray with us also that God will strengthen all of our members who are tried by various trials.

We too continue to pray for the churches of the United States in general, and for you dear partners in particular.

May God bless you all and help us to “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5 :16
