Dear Prayer Partner and/or Supporter:

GROWING IN FAITH

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

The last two years have been personally challenging to my faith through the loss of loved ones, colleagues in ministry, and national pastors who have gone home to be with the Lord. Then there is the encouragement of wonderful events in countries such as where local churches needing property and God’s wonderful provision. Land was needed for a new church plant and through God’s people in America $57,000 was received. Then there was another local church in need of land and $56,000 was received. Motorcycles were needed and through faith, many have been purchased. There were people who needed food in many countries and funds came in to help. Personally, God has provided through His children to meet our own personal needs. God tells us in Hebrews 11:6, “But without FAITH it is impossible to please Him . . . “and I say, “Where there is no faith, there are no blessings!” God tells us,” Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened unto you”. —Matthew 7:7-8

I mentioned in our last prayer letter for you to pray as IGM had stepped into a very significant period in its history of finding a new executive director. By God’s marvelous mercy and grace, God has given to us a well-qualified man and his family to join the IGM family and provide greater purpose and vision to move Together, Reaching the World for Christ! The Mission Council has voted unanimously to bring this brother and his family to take the helm of IGM. My dear brothers and sisters, to finish this step of faith, the Mission needs all of us to be involved.

IGM, from the time of its inception, has been very conscious of its stewardship in the use of what God leads you to give for the furtherance of the Gospel around the world. I come to you once more to ask for your help in getting IGM through this transitional time. The estimated cost for the first phase will be approximately $100,000 which will care for all the needs of getting the new director to Rochester, NY, one additional staff member, space renovation, and equipment. The Newharts will be stepping aside from their regular duties but will continue to work in assisting IGM in promotion, counseling, office work where needed, and raising funds for IGM along with the director. The Newharts will continue to depend on supporters for most of their financial needs.

Nancy and I are moving along a bit or should I say a lot more slowly but enjoying our fellowship with our Father and excited about our new chapter in the journey. Please continue to pray for strength and good health. Especially remember the IGM campaign of “GROWING IN FAITH”. (see back page)

Sincerely in His Unconditional Love,
Gary & Nancy Newhart, Your Missionaries
