The Lord has shown us so much of His goodness from the start of the month of August 2021 after the successful burial of my Dad, Rev. Paul O. Obange, who went to be with the Lord. The church membership grew as we received six adults in Sondu, and four in Mathare, Nairobi who have resolved to follow the Lord and walk in His teachings.

There is no doubt that we are all living in difficult times that are directly affecting us as individuals. But God has not stopped working. He is not silent or passive. He is on the move. He is working in the hearts and faith of His people.

It’s still so hard for me to wrap my mind around the reality that Covid-19 has flipped our world upside down. Living in Nairobi, we are watching the restrictions on daily life grow tighter and tighter. It seems unreal, like a scary movie.

The calendar of the schools all over Kenya had been changed. Many children who went to schools that were affected by Covid-19 went to other schools instead. With this said, we cannot forget the Lord’s goodness to the children as some pupils were in 8th year (Standard 8) and did the year examination. Some who were in the fourth year of secondary education were able to do the end of the year examination, as well. We had six students join high school and four who joined different universities.

It may be difficult to see the hand of God during this time. But rest assured that God is at work during the coronavirus disease crisis. He is working all things for His glory and for the good of those who love Him.

I wish you every blessing. May God richly bless you all.

Sincerely Yours,
