Dear Partners in Ministry,

Greetings to you in the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior. What a faithful God we serve. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is God’s faithfulness! (based on Lamentations 3:22-23)

Ministry at the Cheltenham Baptist Church continues. Attendance at church has been very low due to the stipulated covid-19 restrictions instituted by the government of Jamaica. Despite those restrictions, Sunday morning worship services have been maintained, with members as well as other attendees, joining for physical worship on a rotational basis.

During the period of April to June 2021, there were 4 professions of faith. All these new converts are in discipleship class being prepared for baptism.

We praise God for the new guidelines that will enable at least 50 worshippers in church as of Sunday, July 4, 2021. With that in mind, plans are afoot to recommence Sunday school. Curfew now begins at 6 PM rather than 2 PM.

The building plan for the Sunday school wing has been submitted to the authorities and we now await their approval in order to begin construction. Please join us in prayer that the process will be finalized and that approval will be granted in the near future. We also request your prayers that God will provide the necessary funds to undertake this project.

Please continue to pray for the growth of our ministry and for funds to purchase a vehicle to assist with ministry as well as for my personal health and wellbeing.

Blessings.

Fyrell Dennis
