SUMMER, 2021 PRAYER LETTER

Greetings, dear brothers and sisters in the Lord!

Summer is finally here in West Dover:  our vegetable garden is growing nicely, the lawn gets cut once a week, the flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and there are many rabbits in our yard.  Every morning I praise God for His beautiful creation!  Psalm 145:10:  “All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.”

I want to say thank you for your prayer about the procedure on my arteries.  They put in one stent and cleaned out the other one.  God is so good.  I praise Him for giving me the ability to live a normal, active life again!

We just celebrated in June, along with our children, twenty-eight years of living and serving the Lord here in Nova Scotia.  We thank Him over and over for all that He has done!

Elise and I want to praise God for the opportunity to get to know our neighbors here in West Dover.  I started walking with Elise down Prospect Road which goes through the village of West Dover.  I am meeting and talking to several people.  Some already know me as a minister from weddings and funerals that I have performed.  Some are related to our grandson because his grandmother is from here.  Will you join me in prayer to tell the people about our Lord Jesus and to have boldness to proclaim His Word and even to start a Bible study?

The province of Nova Scotia is slowly opening up.  Businesses, churches, etc. are allowing a small number of people to attend.  Our son, Joshua, and his family came from New Brunswick and stayed with us last week for a few days.  It was so great to see them!  The last time we saw them was almost a year ago, incredible!  The cousins enjoyed playing together because they are all close to the same age:  from 3 years old up to 8 years old.  All six of them!  God is so good – all the time!

Elise and I praise Him for He has done GREAT things.  He is great, compassionate, kind, and gracious.  We are SO thankful for your support and prayer and that each one of you are part of this ministry.  We know that God put us here, and we want to obey His voice to follow Him.  God bless each one of you as we pray for you, too.

Ben and Elise
