Dear Faithful Prayer Partners and Financial Supporters,

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Ministry Highlights During the First Quarter of 2021

FAMILY NEWS

We thank the Lord for keeping us healthy during the first quarter of the year.

The WODOMES are doing well. Joshua continues to work and serve the Lord at PCC. One of our prayers for Joshua has been to see him in a relationship and we thank the Lord for what is next in his life.

Joshua is engaged to Natasha Guest and the wedding is planned for May 29th at PCC in Florida. For that purpose, we will be travelling to the US. This is such a big event in our family that we do not want to miss it. Please pray with us as we look forward to their wedding. You may view their story at Joshua Wodome and Natasha Guest’s Wedding Website – The Knot

Samuel is doing well. Even though he loves to travel, he does not so much appreciate it when we are away from the church of Tamany. Now that Kove’s church is closed, he enjoys playing the keyboard with me at the church of Tamany. And he stays unsatisfied when we are away to visit the field of Agovoudou -Togokome. One major decision we need to make while in the States is to have Samuel tested for life skills so he can be productive in the future. He loves music. Thank you for the birthday and anniversary cards.

Ministry Update

The church in Togokome moved in January to Agovoudou, and attendance has been growing. Visitors come by every Sunday. The highest attendance so far is around 80 including all age groups.

The shelter was completed and some clean sand was spread on the floor for a cleaner look. Water well drilling also is finished and the water is available for use. Thanks to all of you who donated to make these projects possible. The shelter dedication was postponed to April 25th.

Overall, two people trusted Christ as Lord and Savior.

We are still dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and are following the guidelines set for us by the government. Vaccination has also begun. As of April 20, there are 12,553 confirmed cases, 120 deaths, and 10,230 people have recovered from covid-19.

One of our churches is still closed and we are praying that the authorities will grant us permission to reopen the church of Kove soon.
