Dear Faithful Prayer and Financial Partners,
Greetings through our Lord Jesus Christ.
“Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.” Isa. 26:20
I pause to say thanks for your support for 2019 and the start of 2020. I must also apologize for the delay in writing, this has been as a result of sudden illness that I had on the 19th day of October 2019, where I spent six (6) days in hospital (during which several tests were done), after which months was spent recuperating at home. Due to my illness the family was not able to attend church for a while. Despite the health challenges, I thank God I am still alive and recovering.
The covid 19 pandemic has also impacted us, Jamaicans like so many abroad both economically and health wise, but thus far Praise be to God my immediate family and church family are ok health wise. Presently some of the measures that have been implemented by your government are also what have been implemented here including but not limited to the closure of all schools, all ports of entry have been closed, not more than ten (10) persons for any public gatherings and we are under curfew from 6pm to 5am every day. As Christians we can rejoice in the midst of the crisis that all is not lost because our God is still alive.
Note of Praise:
On the 2nd of February 2020, one (1) member was added to the Sellington Baptist Church
On the 8th of March 2020, one (1) member was added to the Rockcliffe Baptist Church.
Let us continue to pray for each other and for God’s intervention for the passing of this virus. May God’s presence, protection and deliverance be your portion.
God Bless you and again I thank you.

Sylvester A. Greene
