Dear Prayer Partner and/or Supporter:

I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Every day will I bless thee; and I will
praise thy name for ever and ever.
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. –Psalm 145:1-3

One day, each one of us began our journey here on planet Earth with a destination of Heaven or Hell! During this journey, we come to a place, by God’s sovereign grace, to make a choice from the very heart of our being to accept or reject His salvation–Romans 6:23. I have had the privilege of seeing church members and deacons, etc. come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. You see, this is not like going to a basketball game where you purchase a ticket to get in. This is establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ for all eternity. This decision is made here on earth based on the sincerity of the heart. This relationship is a day by day walk with the Lord and His Word. I cannot help but share this admonition from the concern of my soul for a world which is groping for answers to the present corona virus and the fear of death. You know and I know the only true hope is found in Jesus, our, Lord and Savior.

THE MISSION

Meetings have been setup for K. Vijay from India. I had the privilege of dedicating his new building in 2019. He presently has many needs but his desire in this trip to raise enough funds to help the 46 pastors under the Grace and Truth Ministries. Presently, he would like to raise $36,000 to build 6 churches in the countryside and to also raise some support for the 46 pastors. Please pray for safety and finances as I take him around to 17 churches, March 1ST through April 15th.

The Mission is doing fairly well and there is much to praise the Lord for concerning some of the needs. Holly, our Financial Manager, lives in one of the apartments and has desired to have a new floor in her kitchen and hallway. Through volunteers and reward funds, most of the cost has been completed along with painting of the walls and ceilings. Praise the Lord for Holly and her sweet spirit and drive. There are many simpler missions’ projects that could be accomplished by a mission team that would be willing to come for a Saturday. Give us a call and see what could be worked out.

Time keeps marching on like a marathon, waiting for no one. Here we are in the last month of the first quarter of 2020, gearing up for the IGM Mission Training Conference beginning August 25th through August 31st, then team travel from September 1st through October 11th. The men will go out on the road to travel to churches to share their ministries and meet God’s people here in the United States. Please pray for the multitude of details that will need to be accomplished before they arrive and pray for the right ones to be given their visa to enter the USA.

THE NEWHARTS

Like in the last 20 years with IGM, we both look forward to the journey of 2020. We know what we want to accomplish but that of course is up to the Lord and His plan for us. We feel blessed with His hand of protection and allowing us the grace to keep moving forward. We both believe there is no room for retirement from God’s work but sometimes a change of direction may need to take place for the sake of the present. I remember a preacher who is now with the Lord saying, “I never left a ministry without another at hand.” This is the way it has been in Nancy’s and my life. So, we both keep moving forward for His glory knowing the end of our journey is when we are ushered into His presence. Please pray with us as we travel the journey of God to be faithful, to give wisdom and a youthful countenance with the manifestation of His Spirit’s presence.

Our children and grandchildren are all doing well. Two of our grandchildren will, by God’s grace, be graduating from Liberty University and one from high school in May. This will mean a couple of trips to Virginia. Praise and Prayer – recently, Nancy’s sister, age 92, was hospitalized for several days with unknown health issues. She is home recovering. She is a precious, dear lady and has added to our lives greatly. Please pray for God’s will and His blessing upon her life. In April, as it looks, I will be traveling south to Trinidad to visit with Pastor Garnet Samuels for his installation service. His left eye is improving. In the midst of all these events, four to five other pastors from abroad will be in and out of IGM headquarters visiting area churches.

Nancy and I cannot thank you enough for your continued support and most of all, your willingness to lift us both up before the throne of grace for our well-being and the advancement of His glorious body until He comes.

Sincerely, in His Matchless Grace,
Gary and Nancy Newhart
