News from Pastor Etienne Degbey: TOGO,West Africa
I greet you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus-Christ.
The Lord by his Grace opened the door for me to visit the United State in the account of our mission agency International Gospel Mission (IGM) that I love so much.
My presence here is to strengthen the old relationships and to establish news ones with the brothers and sisters in Christ.
The duration of my stay is from March 4th to June 30th, 2019.
The 5 weeks of my visitation in various churches in New York State will end on April 7, 2019.
I bless the Lord for using me through the messages preached in the Churches and which have been received with joy. I thank Pastor Koffi Wodome who, with his family had transported me and translated my sermon from French to English. It was for me a subject of encouragement and edification. Your various cheerful gifts and offerings of liberality go straight to my heart. I appreciate the missionary vision the Churches have for lost souls.
Please pray for my wife who is now hospitalized in a clinic in Lome. She is suffering from malaria and a urinary tract infection. Analyzes and cares are continuing. Pray with me for her healing.
I have to leave Rochester, NY on April 9th and join my brother Felix in Georgia for 3 reasons:
The continuation of the missionary journey with my dear friend Jim Arnold.
Attend in May the graduation of Makayla the daughter of my brother in law, Pastor Kouami Midekor.
On June 15th, 2019, I will have a wedding ceremony for the daughter of my brother Felix.
June 30, 2019 I have to return to my beloved country Togo to continue the ministry.
