To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ,
Grace to you and peace from God our Father. We appreciate your continued prayers and support for mom. We also give thanks every day that she is still with us, as she has indicated that she is ready and waiting for the Lord to take her home.
Things have changed significantly with her over the past few months – she cannot move at all without assistance and so has to be lifted in and out of bed and be fed pureed food. She also does not have much appetite. We are trying to obtain a hospital bed that can be adjusted and more comfortable than the one she now uses as this sometimes causes quite a challenge and some level of discomfort both for herself and caregivers.
She appreciates the newsletters from IGM being read to her to keep abreast of happenings and expresses lots of appreciation for your continued support. We had a great family Christmas dinner with her on Christmas day, when she was extremely delighted to see her sister, Lena, niece, grandniece and nephew, children and grandchildren. We were all truly grateful for the opportunity to fellowship with her. We anticipate another year of God’s mercy and grace.
