Jambo-hello.
Psalm 121:8
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
The Lord did just that for us when we traveled to Atlanta, Georgia in June to visit our daughter, Ruth, and son-in-law, Stephen, to welcome our grandson, Zefania, and to spend time with our 3-year-old granddaughter, Aziza. Our daughter, Miriam, from Milwaukee, and our son, Paul Jr., from Chicago came and we had a great time as a family. Special thanks to all of you who prayed for us. We are both back home now and are continuing with the ministries. On August 13th, Paul baptized 15 new believers and on August 20th, he did ordinations and licensing for 22 pastors. He also dedicated a new church that has been planted.
Leah continues serving the four feeding centers. Also, together with 14 other ladies, they visit homes in the community 3 Mondays in a month ministering to those who are in need of food and encouraging those who are sick through prayer and God’s Word. We continue to serve in children’s ministry, giving them hope through God’s Word and education. Through God’s provision, we provide uniforms, shoes, school fees, and school supplies. Blench and her sister, Agnes, live with their grandparents. They were sent home from school because they needed uniforms, shoes, and school fees. The Lord enabled us to buy those things for them so that they could go back to school. Please pray for them.
We are continuing with the Pastors/Wives Ministries. Leah and other leaders are planning for a prayer day for the pastors’ wives on November 4th, Lord willing. In November, there will be church elections for the leaders which are done every 5 years. Paul and the team are busy visiting different churches and making all the necessary arrangements.
Prayer Requests:
For the church elections to go according to the Lord’s will
For spiritual growth for those who were recently baptized and all other believers
For the pastors’ wives’ prayer day on November 4th
For 4 of the high school students who will be doing their exams in November which will determine their entry into college
Pray for the many needs of the people we serve as the cost of living keeps going up.
For our son, Paul Jr., to get a job
For wisdom, guidance, strength, and spiritual growth for our family
We wish to thank you, our partners, for your prayer and financial support.
May the Lord continue to bless you.
In His Love,
Paul and Leah
