“Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.” (Psalm 115:1)

Dear Brethren,

Greetings in the powerful Name of our soon coming King, the Lord Jesus Christ. My wife and I wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for being a partner and friend with our ministry here in St. Vincent. What you are doing in connection with us is having a tremendous impact on lives in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We are very aware that you could use your money elsewhere. But you have chosen to use it sacrificially for the Gospel and as a seed in our ministry to help us take the Word of God to people who are crying out for it. A day never passes that my wife and I don’t stop to seriously ponder what you do and to thank God for it. Therefore, I just wanted to express our thankfulness to you.

Ministry Updates

In January, I started to conduct Bible study with a small group of unbelievers.

On January 17, 2023, we started what is called “Prayer Link Up.” Every member of the church is given the opportunity to call at least two members of the church throughout the day and pray with them. This activity will continue on every third Tuesday of each month for 2023.

In February, my wife started a children’s ministry. She met with the children every Saturday from 4:30- 6: p.m.

On Sunday, February 26, we had “Friends Sunday.” Each member of the church invited their unsaved relatives, neighbors, and friends to attend the Sunday morning worship service. We had thirty-seven visitors in our service that Sunday. Two young men accepted Jesus as their Savior. Praise the Lord.

In March, our church was involved in conferences and street meetings. We had our “Prayer Link Up” on March 21, 2023. I preached at an open-air meeting on Sunday, March 26, and three persons received Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Our regular mid-week Bible study and prayer meeting was well-supported throughout the three-month period. We praise God for the things He helped us to accomplish over the past three months and we are looking forward to accomplishing much more in the coming months.

Health Updates

I visited the eye doctor on March 3, 2023, and I was told that the right eye stopped bleeding. I got the procedure done in it on January 27, 2023, and it worked. My next move is to visit Jamaica to get a thorough check on both eyes.

I thank you for your support prayerfully and financially.

Prayer Requests

Pray that the health of my wife and I will improve.

  1. Continue to pray that we will get additional laborers for the ministries.
  2. Pray that the Lord will provide the US $3500.00 needed to travel to Jamaica to get medical attention for both eyes.

Yours in the Service of Christ,

Garnet Samuels (Pastor)
