O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.  Psalm 107:1

Summer Ministry 2022

Dear Faithful Prayer Partners and Financial Supporters,

Our summer ministry went well.

First, we became grandparents in August. A baby boy named Macaiah was born to our son, Joshua, and his wife, Natasha. We are so excited and can’t wait to get to the US to meet him next year.

On July 23, we had a special children’s Vacation Bible School gathering in the church of Kove to relaunch the children’s ministry there. More than 60 children came and taught a practical lesson from Luke 15 about the love of our heavenly Father for sinners and His willingness to forgive and receive back repentant sinners.

On August 17-19, we had our second VBS in our first church in Tamany where a maximum of 350 children were reached and were instructed on the benefit of obedience.

Sunday, August 21 was a special Children’s Day. That day, we enjoyed a children-led worship service and fellowship.

I would like to mention our building project. In the month of February, we began building our church in Tamany. We continued until September, and we were able to build all the way up to the level of the concrete roof. All of the seven beams are done and we are praying and raising now $13,000 toward the concrete roof. We praise the Lord and give Him all the glory for the extra funds that came in for the roof. May God bless you abundantly.

The ten Ewe language Bibles were purchased and distributed to those who are taking lessons in the phonics class on Sunday afternoons in the church of Tamany. Thanks to sister Laurie for her donation. All other donations were redirected to the building according to the donors’ designations of use where needed.

We still need $2,800 for the tricycle transportation for the church of Togokome-Agovoudou.

Upcoming activities include a ladies’ conference in November, a youth fellowship, and a fellowship for all three churches at Christmas. If you are planning to make Thanksgiving donations, please remember our projects. We still need your help.

Praise the Lord for the 10 Ewe language Bibles.

Prayer Requests:

  1. Please pray for the Lord’s leading in our lives and ministry.
  2. Please pray for spiritual growth in the churches.
  3. Please pray for good health.
  4. Please pray that the Lord would provide funds for our building project to continue.

Thank you for your prayers and financial support.
