“Which we have heard and known… We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done. » (Psalms 78/3-4)

Beloved in the Lord,

As I said in my previous letter, it is under this sign of duty of testimony and recognition that we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our ministry in Sakoula. During these ten years we have been subject to multiple blessings from the Lord: the ministry has held and pursued its vision despite the many challenges we have faced; dozens of people received Jesus as their Savior and Lord; many lives have been impacted and changed forever by the gospel; another new field of evangelization has been opened in Bigtogo. In the social aspect, several achievements have been made, among others, we can note the creation of a primary school which accompanies more than 240 pupils, a water fountain which provides drinking water to the population, a vocational training which trains around twenty women and young girls, around ten sponsored orphans, etc. It was therefore necessary to stop and express our gratitude to the Lord our God who made all this possible.

The anniversary celebration was not just a party, but align with the vision of the Center, it was an opportunity to proclaim the gospel in word and deed. Thus several activities were carried out: a football tournament which brought together for two weeks sixteen (16) teams from ten (10) villages and neighborhoods linked to Sakoula; a women’s marathon which allowed twenty-five (25) women to measure their talents in brisk walking and running; a bowling competition with 10 teams from different localities around ; a two-day medical visit which allowed several dozens of people to benefit of a free consultation and to test their blood sugar rate and hepatitis; a charity day for vulnerable people, especially the elderly and internal displaced people (people who fled terrorist attacks and took refuge around Sakoula), about fifty families were visited. You could see old people who lives alone, crying with joy for the fact that people who don’t know them thought of them and came to them with gift. What a testimony this was, to the glory of our Lord! All of these activities were aimed to witness of Jesus Christ, so in addition to the door-to-door evangelism carried out during three (3) days, there were also two outdoor evenings where the gospel was preached, giving the opportunity to many to respond to the love of God. All these activities were crowned by the service of thanksgiving on Sunday, July 24, 2022, with the presence of brothers and sisters from other churches who came to celebrate the faithfulness of the Lord with us.

We thank the Lord for all these achievements. Thank you also to all of you, for your prayers and your multifaceted support which has enabled this celebration to achieve its objectives. The challenge was great and very high, but thanks to your commitment, it was an achievement. To God be all the glory! May the Lord whom you serve in this way, continue to bless you richly according to his promises (2Cor. 9/10-12). Yes, God will multiply your seed and he will increase the fruit of your righteousness and you will lack nothing to do other good deeds; for he is faithful to his word.

Beloved in the Lord, the next challenge we face is to erect our primary school into a school complex, including the preschool, the primary and the college. The vision is there, the opportunities too, but it requires enough financial means.

Thank you for keeping us in your prayers so that Yahve Jireh provides according to his will.

Prayer requests:

1) Give thanks to God for the smooth running of the 10th anniversary of the Ministry at Sakoula

2) Continue to pray for those who have been visited and for those who have heard or received a gospel message; that the Holy Spirit will convince them of sin and lead them to Christ.

3) Pray for the school complex project, we had opportunity to buy an almost finished building on a plot of one hectare. We are in the process of negotiating the price; we will get back to you on this soon.
