Dear Ministry and Prayer Partners,

Greetings to you in the gracious Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We thank God for His wonderful grace and pleasure to have chosen us to labor together in His vineyard. We are truly encouraged and energized by your generous prayer and support in our daily toil in the kingdom of our God.

God’s Spirit is evident in our labor. Men are being convicted to repentance of their sins and others have responded to the necessity of training for the sake of ministry.  “Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”  2 Timothy 2:14-15

We thank God all is well despite the effects of the hard-hitting drought in our area.

The children are back in school, and we praise God for the precious opportunity for them. The cost for watering the trees we planted is becoming severe since we do not have rain and rely on water sold to us by cart pushers.

The most convenient and suitable solution for us is to get piped water from a nearby borehole. The cost for piping is as follows:

16 rolls of ¾” PVC pipes @ $92 each                                                           $1,472 USD

Fittings, water meter and tap                                                                       $300 USD

Labor (trenching and filling, plumbing services)                                        $480 USD

Transportation of pipes                                                                                  $100 USD

Deposit for connection                                                                                   $400 USD

The water would be helpful not just for the trees but also for church use. The risks of contracting water-borne diseases will also be minimal. The cart pushers really increase the chances of their water being polluted along the way as they exercise very little care in handling the water.

I am most excited every time people present themselves to study God’s Word because the biggest threat to Biblical faith in Africa is the wrong gospel. We thank God for Pastor Dennis J. Mock of Atlanta, GA for developing the Bible Training Center for Pastors (BTCP) concept and curriculum which we use in our training. One pastor who graduated 43 years ago from a Bible college has enrolled along with his 40 students to study with us in this program. It is truly humbling and sincerely encouraging.

Praises:

Confessions of faith (4 people)

Successful graduation of Bible and theological students (9 people)

Huge enrollment of Bible and theological students (67)

Journey mercies traveling to and from the Training Center 300 miles away

Planted 3,000 trees on church property

Gift of having you as prayer warriors and ministry partners

Good health

Needs:

Good study Bibles for the students @$60 USD each

BTCP curriculum manuals for the students @$110 USD each

Our personal support is currently at 25%.

The Lord has graciously and generously dealt with us in our walk of faith. We honor and glorify His holy Name and His faithfulness to us as we serve Him.

Thanking you for your unwavering care and support for the Lord’s work here and throughout the globe.

Yours Faithfully,

Allan Maina
