Dear Friends,
The following verse spoke to my heart. It is a testimony of what the Lord has done in my life. “Let thy loving kindness and thy truth continually preserve me” Psalms 40:11
God has proven His love and His faithfulness to me over and over. October 10th was the date two years ago when Lon entered heaven to be with Jesus, the Lord of his life. It is still hard for me to be here without him, and the holidays can be painful. But the “God of all comfort” is faithful. My health is the same, although I am somewhat limited in my mobility. I am thankful that I can still get around, attend my church regularly and take care of my needs. I have family close, which is a blessing.
Thanksgiving is upon us, we all have so much to praise Him for. I wish each of you a blessed Thanksgiving followed by a very precious Christmas. May we each take time to reflect and remember why our Savior came.
In my home I have a plaque which reads “He loves each of us as if there were only one of us”. He loves you and He loves me.
I would like to close this by saying how grateful I am for you. Your faithful prayers, phone calls and letters of encouragement since Lon’s homegoing have been such a blessing and comfort to me.
With love and a very thankful heart,
Janice Springer
