Dear Prayer Partner and/or Supporter:

PSALM 103:1-4

Bless the Lord, O my soul: And all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

As the days and years fly by, way too fast, my focus changes, knowing that sooner than I can imagine I will finally be home.  The relationship with my Father grows more precious than ever and my thoughts often are caught up with the greatest meeting one will ever have.  Yet, in the meantime, there are things to be accomplished, regardless of the shortness of one’s stay here on planet Earth.

The joy and strength in living and serving our precious Heavenly Father comes from Him.  It is so rewarding to see His mighty hand at work all over the world as He reaches out to touch one here and there.  These days are filled with activity of exposing two pastors to the American church.  It is interesting to see the wealth and prosperity of this great nation.  They never fail to comment about our great roads.  But, sad to say, there are also those things that make them step back questioning the lack of enthusiasm for the Lord and the sharing of the Gospel with the lost.  They see how the American is caught up in the things of this great nation and the Lord is not a priority in their daily living.  Yet, it is exciting to hear them preach His Word which displays the sincerity of their hearts.  I am taken back by the contrast of spirituality and zeal for the Lord and His soon return.  Together, we have traveled hundreds of miles and they will have visited over 30 churches, meeting hundreds of people, sharing what God is doing in their ministries and challenging the American church to share the Gospel with the lost.

Please be in prayer for IGM as we have stepped into a transition period of finding a new executive director.  This is not an easy task, but one that was bound to come to pass, and we will keep you all informed in its progress.  Nancy and I are excited for IGM as the Mission moves forward and we both will remain as your missionaries with IGM to be a resource, promoter, and a servant for IGM as long as God allows.  Pray especially for our Mission Council who is responsible for making decisions in these matters.  Nancy and I have both experienced the COVID in the last several weeks and are praising the Lord for His hand of safety and comfort.  I had received the “vaccine” and Nancy had not.  Praise the Lord, she is back to the office and it is comforting having her alongside of me once again.  She is my greatest supporter and encourager in this journey.  I have said it many times over the years and will continue, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”  This is exactly what the Lord has done, is doing, and will do! Many thanks for your faithful prayer and/or support.

To our brothers and sisters around the world, keep your focus on the Lord Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.  IGM belongs to the Lord Jesus Who is our Head and we will “Together, be reaching this world for Christ!”

Sincerely in His Unconditional Love,

Gary and Nancy Newhart
