Dear Pastor and Friends, Here it is October, where has the time gone? The Lord certainly has been good to me. He has given me strength to go on when I didn’t think there was any more and has provided for me and lifted me up. It has been a little more than 7 months since Sarah went to heaven and it seems like yesterday. I was filling in for Pastor Barry Rumsey at First Baptist Church in Ruskin, Florida the first part of the month. I had the pleasure of having Barry and Vicki working with us in Youngstown, Ohio and Decatur, Illinois. Both were very talented. I always enjoy preaching at First Baptist Church. The church was full as Pastor Rumsey has done a marvelous job growing the church. Then the last part of the month I was filling in at Bethesda Baptist Church in Palm Bay, Florida where James Waddell is the pastor. He has a very different situation where the church building is attached to a nursing home where he ministers not only to people in Palm Bay but also to the people in the nursing home. I really enjoyed filling in for Pastor Waddell. I want to thank each one of you for your prayers and your financial support. God is good and I thank you for your generosity.
