Beloved Brothers and Partners in the Ministry,

I raise the opportunity in this end of year 2018 to share with you, the joyful moments we experienced during the last quarter of the year. We are very grateful to the Lord for the recent progress in the Ministry. My wife and I are also delighted to thank you for your great support by our sides, thanks to which, we stood our ground in the Ministry.

In 2018, we can say, like the Israelites under the lead of Samuel: « Thus far the Lord has helped us ». The Lord has indeed helped us in several domains. In our multiple travels throughout the country, abroad and even out of the continent, the Lord kept watch over our lives. He secured us good health. Except for some isolate malaria cases, none of my family members suffered from a serious illness. Concerning our needs, there were met at several levels: we have access now to safe drinkable water in our home and also to solar energy, thanks to your generosity. The rooves which had been removed by the storm late in September were fixed thanks to your multi supports. Our specials thanks, to Loris and Pastor Henry Carl and their church’s women ministry for their especial support for this need.

The orphans under our care are registered in their schools, thanks to your backing. Our primary school Esperance is increasingly gaining reliance by the inhabitants of Sakoula, with about 200 pupils for the school year 2018-2019. All this testifies of the support of our God and of you His people.

By His grace, we celebrated Christmas as we have been doing in two steps : On December, 22nd with the neighboring children and their parents. More than 300 children were there with their parents to listen to the message of Christmas. The theme was « Today, a savior has been born to us. Did you receive Him? » The deepest meaning of Christmas is to receive Jesus as our savior, source of joy for all groups of people! It was also the occasion for children to sing and quote the biblical verses they have been learning all the year round in the presence of their parents, the majority of which are Muslims.

On December, 25th, the church gathered to celebrate Christmas. It was a great moments of celebration with songs, quoting of verses, dances and plays to magnify the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. All this, was crowned by the word of God entitled: « Christmas, the demonstration of God’s love » and then a meal sign of brotherly communion. These were wonderful moments we spent together. Like the Psalms say « Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity…for there, the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore ». (Psalm 132).

We have ended the year with the New Year eve celebration; another great moment of communion and edification, with different songs and testimonies about the multiple graces that the brothers experience during the year 2018. We put an end to this night with solemn moments of faith prayers to welcome the New Year 2019in prayer. And the Lord gave us His word in Isaiah 58/11-12 to rest upon in the New Year.

Beloved brothers, thank you for your support, through your prayers and your multiple gifts as well. May the Lord that you are serving, bless you abundantly so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work! (2 Cor.9/8-11)

Happy and Blessed New Year 2019 and remain blessed in the precious name of JESUS-Christ.

Pastor LOMPO Robert and Naomi
