“Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us; and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.” Psalm 90:16, 17

November is just around the corner and we do have a lot to be thankful for!

We praise the Lord for His continued Mercies on us. We have seen his hand with us each step of the way. We rejoice in sharing with you what God is doing here in Burlington, NC and other places God has allowed us to serve.

August was a special month. Natanael and I had the opportunity to visit Mexico for a Bible conference in the state of Veracruz, and were also, able to visit four churches, where our graduates are ministering, while down there. I had the privilege of preaching in all five churches. God blessed us, gave us a renewing of spirit to continue doing what God has called us to do.

While we were in Mexico, Melissa and Ramona had the privilege of holding the first VBS here in Burlington. The people here had never heard of VBS. It was a joy to see 20 kids come every day to listen and learn from God´s Word. Even the adult ladies and a couple of the men were able to come and have a part in the activity. We praise the Lord one of the boys has made a profession and we have seen him learning his Sunday school verse since then. That proves God does change lives!

SEPTEMBER came and getting back to school was another process. Jared, the son of Jamee and Carlos Angeles, (missionaries Chalchocoyo, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico), came to live with us for the year. He had been homeschooled and momma (Jamee) needed help in teaching the higher grades. They were praying and deciding what to do and God opened the doors and allowed for him to come live with us and finish up High School.

It was a process working with the public-school system to get him in, but we praise the Lord for working things out. Now Natanael and Jared are in school together and are doing good.
Each time we have had to move because of ministry, it has been a exciting time trying to find the right jobs to help with our income, but also to allow for us to continue doing our ministry. God has been good and has done so each time.

At the present Ramona is working in cable assembly corporation. Her coworker ladies are having a struggle having a Christian lady working with them and the Devil for sure is not happy! Please, help us pray that threw this God will work and we can reach out to these ladies. (English speaking and Hispanic ladies.)

I am doing remodeling work in our area. This allows me to be in contac with different men and the Lord allows for me to be a wittness to those around me. Please keep us in your prayers!
We are learning the Burlington is filled with Hispanic/catholic people. People that as soon as they hear you are a Christian, they get angry at you. So, we must be patient and let God open the doors to share with them HIS Grace and love. Pray that these people can see God threw us! We see God working in special ways.

We praise the Lord for two ladies who had left the church, for different reasons, have realized they should come back. They have been with us now for the past two months. Please continue to pray for God to continue to stir hearts. We have seen God teaching our people and slowly we see them be more consistent in church. We still have a long way to go, but we rejoice in watching God at work.

We rejoice in hearing from Timothy, Yessica and Lyanna. They are being faithful in their church in Texas. Timothy is in the choir and Yessica is a Sunday school teacher´s helper. Our little Lyanna is growing so fast it makes us miss them so much!

We praise the Lord for Melissa and what God is doing in her life and preparing her for something special. She is in her third year at Bob Jones University and is keeping busy. Pray God will continue to provide for her studies and give direction what He has for her for the summer and days ahead.

Natanael is a blessing to us, living at home and finishing up High School. He helps with the sound system at church and other things needed. He still does not know what he wants to do. Please pray God will guide him in his spiritual walk and, in his schooling.

Thank you for standing with us and ministering with us to see God fulfill His purpose in our lives. Pray with us…

1. That God will continue to open doors among the people so we can share the Gospel.
2. That God will use His Word as we share it with others.
3. That God will provide work to support the family.
4. That God will continually give us wisdom and direction in our service to Him.
5. That God will continue to provide for Melissa´s college bills and Natanael as he seeks God´s will.

THANK YOU again for being a part in what God has for us. Our continual desire is just to be FAITHFULL to our Savior till He comes!

Yours in Christ,
Timothy and Ramona Abbott
