Dear Partners,
“Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you. Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.” (Philippians 1:2-5)
Praise the Lord! Thank you again, for your fervent prayers and generous financial support to us. We cease not to thank our God for your labor of love in Christ Jesus. Certainly, we are able to go forward serving our Lord Jesus Christ because of your support and encouragement to us. Together, we are reaching the world for Christ!
My family and I are doing well by God’s grace. My wife and I are committed to serving our Lord, both at our home church and away. We continue to train up our son Andrew in the way he should go; so that he may not depart from it when he is old. Please pray that the LORD our God gives us wisdom and strength that we need in order to serve Him.
Moreover, we have sensed the blessings of God upon folks at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Kitale, Kenya. This is evident in the manner in which He is providing protection, giving good health, and saving the lost souls, and adding the new converts to the body of Christ which is at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Praise God! Our folks are actively engaged into the missions of evangelizing the lost world for Christ. We are carrying out this missions by handing out gospel tracts and inviting folks to visit our church on Sunday worship service, in order to hear the Word of God being taught and preached. Through this Outreach Program we have witnessed several folks coming to attend our church service. Not only have they attended our Sunday worship service, but also some have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior after hearing the Gospel Message. What a joy, to see the lost coming to Christ!
Last month Pastor Russ and Joyce Alexander from New York State visited our church in Kitale, Kenya. Mama Joyce taught kids in our children church, and Pastor Russ taught in our Adult Sunday Bible Study, and preached in our Sunday worship service. It was wonderful to have these faithful servants of God minister to us. We are so thankful for our time with Pastor Russ and Joyce Alexander. They both were such a tremendous encouragement to our hearts.
Brethren, I would like to bring this prayer need of our church before you, so that you may pray about it as you approach the throne of Grace. First, we are in need of getting a sound system to our church so that we may use it as tools to proclaim the Word of God to all that are sited in our church auditorium. This sound system include microphone, amplifier, and sound speakers. Please pray that the LORD provide funds needed to purchase these particular items for our church sound system. Second, we are in need of getting new chairs for our children church. The number of kids in our children church has outnumbered the chairs that are available for them to sit on. Therefore, some kids are sharing the chairs and others just stand on their feet as they learn the word of God. Kindly remember this need as you pray.
