MINISTRY UPDATE APRIL 2019

Matthew 28:5-6 “And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

Special Easter greetings from our family. The last few months have gone by quickly. Things have been busy in the Ministry but the Lord has been faithful. He has given us strength and protection. Thanks for your prayers.

Our current Local church AIC Riruta is growing both Spiritually and numerically. Since January 38 people have accepted Jesus as their Savior. Due to Paul’s new role to oversee the New Area church Council we will move from the Riruta church in Nairobi to Kijabe where we have the headquarters for the New Area. That will take effect on April 28th. The same day we will have a fund raising for the New Area Ministry vehicle and funds for building offices. Please pray that the Lord will provide. Also please pray for our replacement at Riruta and also for the youth pastor Martin, who will be leaving to go and teach at the Bible college in Kijabe where we used to serve. He was one of our students.

Feeding Ministries: The feeding centers are going on well. People are feed both Spiritually and physically. Many of them have testimonies of how the Lord is working in their lives and their desire to grow in their faith. Please pray for them and especially those who have not yet received the Lord. They do appreciate all the assistance of food and Bibles and pray for all who partner with us.

Good News Club: since January 10 children have accepted Jesus as their Savior. We have given bibles to most of the children who know how to read. Sometimes when we meet we give them a chance to share from their Bibles which they love to do. Please pray that the Lord will continue to transform their lives.

In one of our letters we shared about Florence who was in a car accident and had accepted Jesus as her Savior when Leah shared the plan of salvation. She continues to get treatments at our local hospital. We gave her a Bible and she is growing in her faith. Please pray for her to get healed so that she can go back to school as she has been out close to 2 years.

Teams: Please pray for Daisy, from Wisconsin who will come to serve with us in August and a team from Illinois who are coming in October Lord willing.

Family: We praise the Lord for His faithfulness in our lives. On April 14th we celebrated our 35th anniversary. Our children are doing well. Please pray that we will all continue to grow in our faith and follow Lord’s leading.

We do appreciate all your love, prayers and financial support. May the Lord bless you!

Serving together,
Paul & Leah Manyara
