Dear Faithful Prayer Partners and Financial Supporters,
On May 21, we had the first couple’s agape meeting in the church of Tamani. It was a time of fellowship and sharing. Everybody appreciated the time together and we hope that next year, more couples will join the gathering.
During the month of June, we had a chain of prayer and fasting to focus on spiritual things and to pray for the special needs of each other. During that period of time, we also did early morning prayer gatherings on Saturdays. It was also a time when Koffi taught on prayer and fasting in the Old Testament, in the New Testament, and also on how fasting is done in the churches nowadays. During this period of time, we also prayed for spiritual growth in the church as we preached through the epistle to the Hebrews.
During the month of July, we started our preparation for VBS and getting the Kove church ready for a full-week worship gathering. For this reason, we will have a shelter dedication worship service on September 1st. This date coincides with the visit of our new International Fields Director, Terry Moore, We are excited and cannot wait to see him and to take him around to see the various churches that were planted by the IGM National Pastors in Togo.
Two children were born in the church of Tamani and Koffi dedicated them to the Lord on the 7th day after they were born. Please pray for a baby of a year and half old that cannot walk.
VBS is scheduled for August 20-23rd in Tamani and August 30 – September 1st in Kove.
Dear friends, because of your faithful giving, we can also help some people in need and we intend to do more as the Lord continues to provide.
The family is doing well. Samuel is doing well but Koffi and Elisabeth’s health has been shaken for a few months. We have gone to several doctors’ visits with no great results. But we keep on going and serving Him Who has called us. Joshua graduated with his Master’s degree in Bible exposition from PCC. He also went on a missions trip to Romania and came back safely. We praise the Lord for his dedication to his work and his willingness to serve Him there in the school and abroad. As you know, we will start our furlough in October. Please pray for our preparation and travel. We love you all and are hoping to see you soon. Thank you for all the greeting cards and encouragement letters.
Praise the Lord for our faithful supporters.
Praise the Lord for the Kove shelter that is finished.
Praise the Lord for a bicycle that was given to a boy.
Please pray for the Lord’s guidance in our lives and ministry.
Please pray for a small boy in the church who is about a year and a half old but cannot walk.
Please pray for the VBS shelter dedication service.
Please pray for our upcoming furlough.
Thank you for your prayers and financial support.
