Garnet Samuels, Trinidad — Time

“Not unto us, o Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake. (Psalm 115: 1)

Dear Brethren,

As we continue to experience this current crisis, let us continue to be witnesses of hope, encouragement, generosity, patience and prayer.
I would like to thank you for faithfully supporting us. Your commitment to help us as we serve the Lord in Trinidad is sincerely appreciated. With the generous support of people like you, we will able to reach many more souls for the Lord. Thank you for the sacrifices you have made to help us.

Ministry Update

Presently we are dealing with the difficulties associated with the Coronavirus pandemic. The plans we had for the Palmiste church for the months of March -June 2020 have been set back for now. We have not had any meeting in our church building since March 15,2020. Presently we conduct our Sunday morning service and Bible study by using a digital platform. Some of our members have lost their jobs. I have been using my time to call, pray with and counsel members of the church and people who are living in communities where the church is located. I sometimes had to make visits to families that are in great needs. I had to exercised a lot of wisdom in making those visits. I also used my time to prepare messages, Bible study lessons, conduct meetings online with the leaders of the church, and do short videos of encouraging words for members of the church.

Prayer Requests

1. Please continue to pray that God will protect my wife and I as we labor in Trinidad.
2. Continue to pray that we will get the furniture and appliances needed for our new apartment.
3. Pray for the members of the church that lost their jobs.
4. I was told by the leadership church in April that the church can only give me 50% of my salary and there is uncertainty as to what will happen for the month of May. Please pray for me.
4. Pray for our children, they are still living in Grenada.

Once again thank you so much for your continued prayer and financial support. We are praying for you. We are thankful that you have partner with us to spread the Gospel in Trinidad and Tobago.
Please continue to stay safe and remain faithful to our Almighty God.

Thanks for being a part of this ministry.
May God continue to bless all of you.

Yours in the service of Jesus Christ,
Garnet Samuels (Pastor)
