“Not unto us, o Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake. (Psalm 115: 1)

Dear Brethren,

There is a problem when we will do anything to look good no matter what happens to God’s reputation in the process. As we labor for God in Trinidad, we want His name to be glorified and not ours.

Thank you so much for your fervent prayers and financial gifts. You may not ever realize how your gestures and kindness touched our lives. The impact you have made on our ministry cannot be overstated neither can it be measured. Thank you for the sacrifices you have made to help us.

Ministry Update

In the months of November – December 2019, we have seen an increase in our Sunday morning service from an average of 20 to 26 people. We had 47 children and about 30 adults in attendance at our Children’s Christmas Treat. Two of the adults trusted Christ as Savior. In December 2019 we counseled 2 persons who were experiencing problems in their relationships and the both of them gave their lives to Christ at the counseling session.

January 2020 was our prayer month. In the first week of that month we conducted prayer meetings at different homes in the community. Almighty God granted us many of our requests.
Presently we have 3 persons that made the decision to follow the Lord in believer’s baptism and 5 persons that expressed the desire to become members of our church.
In the month of March, the church will be involved in a Biblical Leadership Seminar, I will be conducting a Witnessing Skill Seminar with our members and the ladies will attend a Ladies Retreat.

Update on my eyes

To God be the glory great things He hath done. Praise the Lord, my right eye is doing well and the left eye has improved. On Tuesday February 18,2020, my eyes were tested and the right eye is 20/25, the left is 20/40. I am praying and waiting for the left eye to get back to 20/20 vision.

Prayer Requests

1. Please pray that God will protect my wife and I as we labor in Trinidad.
2. Pray that we will get the furniture and appliances needed for our new apartment.
3. Pray that we may not only reach more people with the Gospel in the Palmiste Community but the ones reached will begin attending the services.
4. Pray for our children, they are still living in Grenada.

Once again thank you so much for your continued prayer and financial support. We trust that you will continue to serve God right where you are at. I am so thankful that God allows us to be a part of His plan for the redemption of man. We know that it takes people like you to help people like us make an eternal difference, not just in the Palmiste Evangelical but also in the Island of Trinidad and Tobago.

Thanks for being a part of this ministry.
May God continue to bless all of you.

Yours in the service of Jesus Christ,
Garnet Samuels (Pastor)
