Dear Brothers and Sisters: greetings in our Savior from Nova Scotia!
In God’s Word, I am reminded of how great our God is! 2Samuel 22: 2-3 tells us David was delivered from his enemies by God. He rejoices in this chapter: the Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my saviour, Thou dost save me from violence. Lets be encouraged, dear saints, in Christ Jesus, no matter what we are going through – God is our rock, our refuge, our shield, and our stronghold! We can trust in Him to deliver us from our enemies, whoever they are!
You may ask, what does this have to do with the celebration of the birth of our Saviour? In Matthew 1:23: Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which translated means, God with us. THAT God is with us in this life. He is with us in all we do and wherever we go. He is with us through all of these many trials we are experiencing here.
Elise and I are so grateful as you have supported us over the years and prayed us through the trials we went through! We still have the same burden to teach and share the gospel message of hope. Some praises we want to share with you: Seaside Church is continuing to meet in Tantallon, our neighbour, Glen’s hernia is healed and his wife was able to go to the Philippines to her son’s wedding, many reached through the day camp, and many new people from our area are coming to the services. Thank you for your prayers!
We pray that you have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year with your family and friends.
Much Love, Peace and Hope
Ben and Elise
