Ps 2:8 “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”

Dear Prayer Partners,

Greetings to you all in the blessed Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Recently, I made a one-week mission trip to north India in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh with the purpose of expansion of our growing ministries in the hard areas of north India.

I had a new contact with Dr. D.K. Angami in Chandigarh, Punjab. We prayed together and talked about church planting ministries with which he is already involved. Then I was received by brother Balabir Negi and family from Himachal Pradesh and we traveled 350 KM one way and reached Jeory town where Ps.Negi and his family are serving.

We did a quick survey of the Gujjar people who are known as nomadic. We were told that there are at least 65 families of Gujjars with a population of 1,500 people in between Srerampur, Jeory, and Kinnaur. There are also more than 250 thousand Nepalese in the same areas. They are the most receptive people group to the Gospel at present. The Gospel work is very much needed in all these areas. It is essential that we challenge young people from northeast India to go to these new territories and establish church-planting ministries.

Ps. Negi also started a Nepali fellowship and I had the privilege of speaking to them twice and presenting them with Nepali Bibles.

One of the best ways to start the ministry out there is through weekly Bible studies and tuition for Gujjar children. We dedicated the fellowship hall and I trained Ps. Negi on how to start the Baptist School of Evangelism (BSE). He told me yesterday that he started the classes last week. He is doing this on a weekly basis with seven to eight people. Please pray that this will continue to grow for the extension of our Lord’s kingdom.

Thank you all for your prayers and financial support.

In His Service,
