Assatchou Roger Fetou, Togo — God Provides

“Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.” 2 Chronicles 7:15-16

Dear Prayer Friends and Supporters,

FETOU’s family would like to praise the Lord for His mercies and blessings.

God is doing a lot in our lives and our ministries here in Togo. We are thankful for God’s provisions to our family. He is taking care of us, our children, and the ministry. The entire world is passing through a pandemic; the situation is not easy, but our God is so great in our lives. The list would be too long to count God’s blessing or provisions. He nourishes us every day and we are not able to explain how we get food and money to take care of the family. He protects and guides Roger in his many trips for seminars from Mango to Kpalime passing by Adéta and Lomé. He helps Ameyovi in taking care of the house and children.

During this difficult time, Roger made spent more than five weeks out of the house for Christian schoolteachers’ seminars, visiting, sharing the Gospel since churches are closed, and giving assistance wherever it needed. We are really sorry for not being able to send pictures. We will do it next time. We are new missionaries and we still have to learn how to do everything.

We praise the Lord for keeping us healthy. It is by the grace of the Lord; we do not deserve it. We recognize it and bow before Him.

Finally, we praise the Lord for using us in His field; thanks and glory be to Him. We lift His Name higher. “For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” Ps. 100:5

Please, we still have some requests.

We plan to have means to provide some food and school supply kits for teachers and schools in order to get ready for school starting in October. We really need help and God’s provision for that. We need to show God’s tangible love and assistance to people in this situation. Not only does COVID-19 disorganize everything and bring worries, but the rainy season is unusual also. Crops are not producing as normal. Without God’s help in these things, life will be very difficult.

We are also planning to talk to young people about the COVID-19 because we realize that the focus is only on adults. This younger age group is also very important but they have been forgotten. We need to make some masks and we need some tracts because not only we will talk of COVID, we are obliged to share the Gospel and bring souls to Jesus.

Our family needs help to prepare for the kids’ schooling (tuition, uniforms, school supplies, etc.).

We also need prayers for Roger’s trips. We will have to take taxis for long distances. Not only are they very expensive, but also, they are not secure every time.

Ameyovi needs health, strength, and wisdom to help her family as well as possible.

Dear partners, thanks a lot for the interest you have in God’s ministry and for FETOU’s family. God bless you a lot.

” But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”

Phil. 4 :19-20
