Dear Prayer Partner and/or Supporter:
I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.– Psalm 34:1-3
One cannot cease to praise the Lord for all He has done in our personal lives nor in the hearts of others through His Cross. Our faith is often challenged through the circumstances that rise in this journey that God has placed Nancy and I on for His Glory. I trust you will rejoice with us, as well.
Two major projects have been faith builders. The first was manifested by Pastor Allan Maina in the city of Nairobi, Kenya. Pastor Maina had chosen a property for a place to move their home church. The property cost $58,000 and has a metal building on it where the church can meet. This looked impossible to the human mind but not to the mind of God. The Lord has provided the funds for the Calvary Baptist Bible Church and they are all excited over God’s provision. The second is also in Kenya in the city of Kitale where Pastor Anthony Juma had found a property for the new church, known as Macedonia Baptist Church, that was very centrally located and selling for $56,000. He put $28,000 ($25,000 from one individual) down and needed $28,000 more and over an approximate eight-week period, the additional funds came and any extra will go towards the building. They will move the tent they have been meeting in to the new property and begin to reach the surrounding area for the Glory of our Lord Jesus. These two projects total over $114,000 for the Glory of God and reaching Kenya with the Good News through the local church. Thank you for praying and giving!
Nancy and I want to thank each of you that pray, keeping us before the Lord. Your financial gifts for us are also appreciated and keeps us moving forward for our Lord. We have been very busy with those partnering with IGM. There certainly is a lot of counseling and prayer along, with tears on occasion, over the going home of loved ones. Right now, the most urgent need is prayer for Kerry and Terri Psinas. They both have the corona virus. Kerry seems to be having the hardest time. He has been in and out of the hospital, receiving oxygen etc. and Terri is by his side caring for him. Please keep them in prayer. Pray for many of the churches trying to reopen once again. Especially in Togo, as only three churches were open that partner with IGM. It seems that the devil is at work using the government to keep churches closed but letting bars and other worldly activity continue. Sounds like America!
Sincerely in His Unconditional Love,
Gary and Nancy Newhart
